Chandur Wadhwani, BDS, MSD

Dr. Wadhwani is recognized by his colleagues as a respected leader, author, educator and clinician. Considered to be one of the world’s leading authorities on restoring dental implants, Dr. Wadhwani lectures throughout the world, teaching other dental specialists techniques he has created to improve dental care. He is the primary author of countless scientific articles in peer-reviewed dental journals and has contributed to academic textbooks with his ground-breaking research.

Originally from London, England, Dr.  Wadhwani received his undergraduate degree from the University College London School of Dentistry and was awarded honors and distinction in Dental Surgery. He taught at the dental school in London as a clinical lecturer in the restorative department for many years. He received his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics as well as a Master’s Degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2004. Dr. Wadhwani is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at UW, and also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University and Clinical Assistant Professor at Oregon Health & Science University.

Dr.  Wadhwani has won awards for his work from the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Prosthodontic Society and the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry.  He remains actively involved in dental research with the University of Washington, University of California –San Francisco, University of Texas, and Oregon Health & Science University. In addition to his awards for research, Dr. Wadhwani remains a top-rated practicing prosthodontist, having been named “Top Cosmetic Prosthodontist” by his professional peers and consistently voted Seattle  Magazine’s “Top  Dentist” every year since 2009.
